Everyone loves a generous scoop of ice cream on occasion. But no one loves the calories that come with it. I searched for a healthier alternative to ice cream and found one that tastes exactly like the real thing! This recipe is so simple and it’s even good for you.
To create this wonderful concoction, you will need:
1 banana, peeled and frozen
1 spoonful of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
First peel a ripe banana and put it in the freezer. Make sure to peel the banana before you freeze it, otherwise the peel is very hard to get off. Once frozen, break up the banana and put it in the food processor with the peanut butter and cocoa powder. Then pulse the ingredients together until smooth.
The end result should resemble a Wendy’s frosty and taste a bit like one too! You get to eat delicious homemade chocolate-peanut butter ice cream without the hassle or the guilt. Enjoy!
